This juvenile male mink was found alone on a backyard deck. He was brought into the BC SPCA Wild ARC Facility by a member of the public. A full examination found that he was not injured but was too young to survive on his own.

Under the watchful care of the staff at Wild ARC this mink began to eat and was soon gaining weight and growing at the appropriate rate. Once this beautiful and sleek hunter was old enough to be on his own he was released back into the wild.

Thanks to the Biscuit Fund and its partnership with Wild ARC injured wildlife will receive the medical treatment they require so that they may once again live freely in their natural environment.
